Install BookSync
The extension isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet (we're publishing soon). Until then, the install is a 6-step developer load. Takes about 5 minutes. No coding.

Mint your BookSync token
On /account/booksync, click 'Mint a new token'. Label it (e.g. 'home laptop'). Copy the token shown - it's displayed exactly once. Treat it like a password.
Open /account/booksync → - 2
Download the extension zip
Grab the latest signed build at https://github.com/davidolverson/nuropicks/releases - find the most recent 'booksync-vX.X.X.zip' under Assets. Save it somewhere you'll remember.

Unzip into a permanent folder
Right-click the zip → Extract. Move the extracted 'booksync' folder somewhere you won't accidentally delete (e.g. ~/Documents/nuropicks-booksync). Chrome reads the extension files from this folder forever - moving or deleting it breaks the extension.

Open Chrome's extension page in developer mode
In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions. Top-right, flip the 'Developer mode' toggle to ON. New buttons appear at the top-left.

Click 'Load unpacked' and pick the folder
Click 'Load unpacked', navigate to the booksync folder you extracted in step 3, and click Select. The NuroPicks BookSync extension appears in your list with a chrome-X icon.

Pin it + paste your token
Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, find NuroPicks BookSync, click the pin so it stays visible. Click the icon to open the popup, paste your token from step 1, click Save.
After install
Log into any of the 10 supported books in the same Chrome profile, navigate to the bet-history / entries page, click the BookSync icon, hit Sync. Bets ship to your NuroPicks ledger within seconds.

Trust + safety
- Zero credentials.The extension never sees your sportsbook password. It reads what you can already see when you're logged in - same as you scrolling through your Bet History tab.
- Open source. Every line of the extension lives at github.com/davidolverson/nuropicks/extensions/booksync. Audit it before you install.
- Server-side dedupe. Re-running sync is safe - the book's own bet/entry id is the dedup key, so a second sync of the same window won't double-count.
- Token revocation.Lost a laptop? Revoke that device's token at /account/booksync - your other devices keep working.
Trouble?
If a sync fails or you see no bets:
- Confirm you're on the book's bet-history page (not the homepage or game-list).
- Scroll the bet history list at least once before syncing.
- Pop a Discord ticket in #booksync-help with the book name and what you saw.
