About NuroPicks
What is NuroPicks?
An AI-powered sports betting intelligence platform. Discord bot plus web app. Free tier, $29.99 Pro, $79.99 Elite. Picks are virtual by default and tracked on-platform; live wagers happen at licensed sportsbooks via affiliate links.
Are you a sportsbook?
No. We do not accept wagers, hold balances, or pay out winnings. We are analytics and community. Your real-money account lives with your sportsbook.
What makes you different from OddsJam or Unabated?
We are cheaper, free tier is real, and we combine analytics with a community + capper marketplace + academy. OddsJam is the leader for +EV finding at a high price; Unabated is a props power-tool for sharp bettors. We are for the everyday bettor who wants AI explanations, a Discord surface, and a path to become a capper.
Does NuroPicks cover prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket?
Yes, as price-discovery tools, not a replacement for your sportsbook. Our methodology treats Kalshi and Polymarket pricing on sports event contracts as a leading indicator, especially for low-volume props like NFL Draft slot order. When a prediction market diverges 8 cents or more from a sportsbook on the same outcome, we flag it on the /nfl-draft/prediction-markets surface. What does the free tier include?
3 AI picks per day with SHAP-style reasoning blocks, Discord community, 0-term glossary, free Academy modules (1-6), free interactive calculators at /tools, CLV tracking on every logged bet.
What does Pro ($29.99) add?
Unlimited AI picks, Academy modules 7-12, per-sport CLV analytics, priority Discord access, SGP lineshopping + parlay builder with correlation warnings, odds alerts.
What does Elite ($79.99) add?
Everything in Pro plus: Academy 13-18, copy-betting (where legal), arbitrage scanner, per-market CLV analytics, offshore book coverage, elite lounge Discord, SMS odds alerts.

Picks and models
How are picks generated?
XGBoost ensemble today, migrating to an XGBoost + Random Forest voting ensemble in phase 2. Every pick ships with SHAP-style Edge / Signal / Context / Risk blocks so you see the reasoning, not just a number.
What is CLV and why do you publish it?
CLV = closing line value. Implied-probability delta between the price you bet and the sharp closing line. It is the strongest known long-run profit predictor at scale. We publish it on every capper and every model profile against sharp reference books (Pinnacle, Circa, Bookmaker). Read our full CLV essay for the math.
Do you guarantee winners?
No. Anyone who does is selling you something. Variance is real. Our commitment is honest CLV tracking + transparent methodology, not guaranteed outcomes.
Cappers
How does your capper marketplace work?
Apply via /apply-to-cap (Discord or web form). Publish picks. Every pick is auto-tracked for CLV. Min 25 picks to appear on the public leaderboard. Sportsbook affiliate revenue from followers you sourced is split 50/50 with you.
Why 50/50 rev-share? The industry standard is 10-20%.

Can I delete losing picks?
No. The platform enforces no cherry-picking, no recency weighting, no backfill. That rule is what makes the CLV record trustworthy.
Legal and geography
Is NuroPicks legal in my state?
We are available in all 50 states because we are an analytics platform, not a sportsbook. Affiliate-link signups at sportsbooks are geo-gated to the 39 states plus DC plus Puerto Rico where sports betting is legal, but all other features work everywhere.
What is the minimum age?
21+. Self-certified at signup; state-tied verification is rolling out before paid-tier scale.
What about responsible gambling?
First-class. /self-exclude in Discord freezes your account for 24h, 7d, 30d, or permanent (only you see the response). Every embed that references wagering includes 1-800-GAMBLER. Cappers pushing bet-chasing behavior have their 50/50 share frozen pending review.
Product basics
Do I need to install anything?
No. The bot works inside our Discord server after you join. The web app is at nuropicks.com and runs in any modern browser. No download required.
How do I track my bets?
Use /bet in Discord to log a pick. We auto-compute CLV, settle the bet from The Odds API /scores, and update your profile + leaderboard position.
How do I import bets from a sportsbook?
Go to /account/bets/import and paste or upload a CSV export from DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, Fanatics, Circa, Pinnacle, ESPN BET, or Bet365. Stake, odds, sport, market, and result auto-detect. ROI by book, market, and stake band lives at /account/bets/portfolio.
