Does BookSync see my sportsbook password?

No. The extension only reads the bet-history HTML you can already see when you're logged into the book. It can't access your password field, your saved cards, or any other tab. The only credential we touch is the NuroPicks token you paste into the popup.

What happens if I run sync twice?

Safe. The book's own bet/entry/ticket id is the dedup key on our side, so re-syncing the same window doesn't double-count. You can sync as often as you want.

Which sportsbooks are supported?

Ten: DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers, ESPN BET, Fanatics, Hard Rock, PrizePicks, and Underdog Fantasy. If a book you use isn't listed, open a Discord ticket - new scrapers add cleanly.

Why isn't BookSync on the Chrome Web Store yet?

Submission is queued (see /booksync/install for the dev-load fallback). Web Store review for sportsbook-adjacent extensions typically runs 1-7 days. Once approved, the install becomes a single 'Add to Chrome' click.

I clicked Sync and got zero bets. What happened?

Three causes in order of likelihood: (1) you're not on the bet-history page (open My Bets / Entries first), (2) your bet list is virtualized and hasn't loaded yet (scroll once before syncing), or (3) the book changed its DOM. For #3, post in #booksync-help on Discord with the book name - we patch the selector list and reship.

Is the extension open source?

Yes. Every line lives at github.com/davidolverson/nuropicks/tree/main/extensions/booksync. MIT license. Audit before install, fork freely.

What does BookSync send to NuroPicks servers?

Per bet: stake, odds, market, pick text, settled status, settled time, payout, the book's external id (for dedup), and the book name. That's it. No browser metadata, no cookies, no IP fingerprinting. The HTTP payload is signed with your token.

Can I revoke a token?

Yes. /account/booksync lists every token with its label and last-used time. Revoking takes effect immediately and only affects that one device - your other devices keep working.

What does Pikkit cost vs BookSync?

Pikkit Pro is ~$20/month with a similar feature set. BookSync is free and open source. Our argument: bet-history sync isn't a moat, it's table stakes - we'd rather sell you on the public-record AI ledger built on top.

What about Edge / Brave / Arc?

All three are Chromium-based and accept the same dev-load extension. Web Store install will work on Edge once Microsoft mirrors the listing, and you can sideload to Brave/Arc the same way today.

What if a book changes its layout?

Each scraper uses 3-5 selector fallbacks per field, so most one-attribute renames don't break it. When a full rebrand kills coverage, we patch the selector array, bump the manifest version, and reship - usually within 24h of the first user report. Does BookSync work on mobile?

Not yet. It's a Chrome extension, which means desktop / laptop only. A native iOS / Android share-sheet sync is on the roadmap but not built.
